Programs
Kalimori is a space where people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders can improve their quality of life by developing their potential and acquiring socio-adaptive skills that allow them to become increasingly independent in a safe environment.
To achieve the above we have three programs:
Private Residency Program
Residents live in Kalimori and are part of daily activities. This program requires an initial assessment to determine the support the person requires and whether Kalimori is the answer to their needs. Once the assessment is completed, the gradual transition process to the residence begins, in which a program is developed tailored to their abilities and needs.
Daytime Program
Kalimori, aware of the needs of the disabled population in Malinalco and its surroundings, offers this alternative to local residents by granting scholarships to support them in the workshops and pre-employment preparation, together with the residents, during the day. In the afternoon they return to their families.
